9th Red (5-1):

Burleson 48 vs Bedford 47

Burleson 38 vs Decauter 60

Burleson 60 vs Benbrook 18

The red team finished the Weatherford Tournament on a high note when they took out Benbrook B 60-18. Behind a stifling half-court defense and the scoring of Isaiah Smith, Caleb Kirby, and Adrain Reyes the Elks dominated from start to finish. The Elks earned a 2nd place finish in the Weatherford Tournament

9th Black (5-1):

Burleson 53 vs Weatherford 44

Burleson 59 vs Aledo 38

Burleson 42 vs Bedford 64

The team was lead by Blake Myers and Brennan Zeiner on the offensive end. The defensive effort was outstanding, converting turnovers into easy buckets. Overall the team gained good experience and looks to bounce back from their loss to Bedford. They finished 2nd place in the Weatherford tournament.

JV (5-1):

Burleson 42 vs Weather 36

Burleson 55 vs Aledo 47

Burleson 43 vs Richland 34

The JV started the tournament off with a 42 – 36 win against the host Weatherford.  Iver Macaulay lead all scorers with 16 points and Aiden Anderson contributed making 4 of 5 freethrows.The next day they played Aledo and won by a score of 55 – 47,  lead by Mikah Stabeno with 16 points and Jared Johnson with 15. On Saturday they matched up with Richland for the championship and won 43 – 34.  Jared Johnson stepped up as the leading scorer once again with 15 points.
Varsity (5-1)

Burleson 74 vs Aledo 40
Burleson 54 vs Red Oak 42
The Elks cruised their way to a 3-0 record in the Weatherford Tournament. They averaged 65 ppg and gave up 44. Many people contributed on the offensive end shooting 53% from the field as a team. They were lead by Junior Guards Jaylen Johnson and Josiah Sneed. Isaiah Nelson and Justin McMaster were monsters on the boards. After losing the season opener they have won 4 in a row, they look to continue the streak as they head to the Granbury Tournament this weekend.                                                                W'ford Tournament 2
