Johnson came out hot scoring 9 of the Elks 13 first quarter points, but he didn’t stop there. He ended as the high point man finishing the game with 25 points. Nelson, Baldwin and McMaster controlled the boards on both throughout the game. “It’s nice to start district on the right foot” said Coach DuBose. If they continue their hot shooting they’re in line to make some noise in district this year. They take on the Haltom Buffalos next Tuesday.
